Cladd was born out of a dream for sustainable and responsibly sourced precious metals and diamonds. Each item is designed in-house by our amazing group of local designers. 

Lola Mendez started this business in her living room with her roommate, and within a few years, the business quickly outgrew her Manhattan apartment. 

The studio sprouted legs and took a walk over the Williamsburg bridge and landed in Brooklyn. The studio has now laid roots there for 3 years, and Lola Mendez remains the head designer. 

Cladd is a small studio of dreamers with a shared goal and a shared passion for sustainability.
